I’m drawn to difficult systems, elegant abstractions, and experiences that feel alive.

My path has moved through computer systems at Carnegie Mellon, contributions to the GNU C++ standard library, distributed infrastructure, hardware prototypes, and virtual worlds. The thread connecting them is simple: understand how things work, then make them work a little better.
